Track India's Electricity Problems Before They Become Outages
Community-powered electricity reliability map for every Indian city. Report issues, track live grid status, and help your city stay ahead of outages.
Is your power out right now?
Report it in two taps and find out whether your neighbours are affected too.
Takes about 20 seconds. No account needed.
Where people are reporting power cuts
Each dot is a place someone on the ground reported. Nothing here is estimated or modelled.
Reports from the past 7 days
- Still out
- Power back
- No recent confirmation
Power Watch is neighbours reporting to each other, not your electricity company. A report here doesn't reach them: to get a lineman sent, call your discom. Find its complaint number. "No recent confirmation" means nobody has reported from there for a few hours, not that power is back. Reporters are counted by phone number; Power Watch doesn't verify who they are.
Is the power out in your city?
Live reports for your area, plus your electricity company's complaint number, WhatsApp and app — checked against official pages.
Lights out at yours but not next door? Here's why that happens — and what to do about it.
How It Works
A crowdsourced approach to municipal grid monitoring — works in any Indian city.
1. Observe & Report
Notice a power cut, voltage fluctuation, or transformer issue anywhere in India.
2. Real-time Mapping
Your report instantly updates the city-wide heatmap, warning others nearby.
3. Action & Resolution
Data is aggregated for authorities to prioritize maintenance and repairs.
