How to escalate a AEML complaint

Forward the complaint number to your group so nobody has to search for it mid-outage.

Formerly Reliance Infrastructure (Reliance Energy) Mumbai distribution business; acquired by Adani in 2018 and renamed Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd. 19122 is AEML's own short code (not 1912). adanielectricity.com returned HTTP 403 to our fetcher, so the helpline was verified from AEML's official Play Store listing only; WhatsApp, SMS and online-complaint URL could not be verified and are left null. Mira-Bhayandar added to this discom's cities (AEML licence area); parts of the city may also be served by MSEDCL/Tata Power.

Complaint not fixed? How to escalate

Every distribution licensee in India must run a Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, and every state has an Electricity Ombudsman above it. Work up the ladder; keep your complaint number from step one.

  1. 1

AEML customer care / Internal Grievance Redressal Cell (IGRC)

Call 19122 or complain via the Adani Electricity app; if unresolved, write to the IGRC (details on adanielectricity.com under CGRF > IGRC).

  2. 2

Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF), AEML

File a grievance with the AEML CGRF if the IGRC does not resolve it within the MERC timelines (3 days for supply failure, 15 days for others).

  3. 3

    Electricity Ombudsman (Mumbai), MERC

Representation within 60 days of the CGRF order. 606-608, Keshva Building, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (E), Mumbai 400051; 022-26592965.
