- Look for your area in the Area Affected column. Each row gives the sub-division, substation, feeder, and the From and To times of the shutdown. One PDF covers all of CESC, so other districts appear in it too.

Why does the next street have power and you don't?
In most Indian cities your supply comes off a feeder shared with a few neighbouring areas. When a transformer overheats in summer, the discom often switches areas off in turn to let it cool — so your neighbour's lights come back while yours go out. Complaining moves the cut; it doesn't end it. Knowing this changes what you should do.
